JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Office of Student Aid is seeking a Federal Work Study student to assist with administrative support.

Responsibilities of this role may include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with ensuring the proper receipt, handling, scanning, imaging, and distribution of all documents received by the Office of Student Aid.
  • Provide daily support to the primary Office of Student Aid Document Management personnel.
  • Assist in updating the received check file for incoming paper checks and distribution to the appropriate office.
  • Greet visitors to the office and verify appointments.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management traits and organizational skills, as well as competent communication and interpersonal skills.

Position Details:

  • The duration of this position is the fall 2025 and spring 2026 semesters.
  • The starting hourly rate for this job is $12.00.
  • Work hours will take place Monday through Friday between 8 am - 5 pm.
    • Hours can be up to 10 hours per week.
    • 2-hour time period commitments per day are preferred.
  • This is an in-person position in the Shields Building on University Park Campus.
  • Applicable training will be required upon hire.
  • Federal Work Study job performance is evaluated through ongoing mentorship.
The starting hourly rate for this job is $12.00. Federal Work Study job performance is evaluated either annually or through ongoing mentorship. Students who received a Federal Work Study award have the opportunity to obtain a joband perform related duties eitheron campus, orremotely, if possibleand at the discretion of the employer. Students applying for Federal Work Study positions should clarify expectations with their potential employer regarding either on campus/in person or remote work arrangements.
