JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS Penn State Brandywine Campus Library (in Media, PA - outside of Philadelphia) is seeking a Part-Time Library Support Staff position for 20 hours per week. This is not a federal work study position. The selected candidate will be responsible for opening or closing the library and work four weekdays. We are looking for the following days/times for availability: Monday 1:30pm-6:30pm, Thursday 8:30am-1:30pm, and Wednesday/Friday any time between 8:30am-5:00pm. Duties Include
The candidate should possess good computer skills, communication skills (written and verbal), and the ability to work independently. Candidates must possess a commitment to working with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and cultures, have a strong commitment to diversity, equity, respect, and inclusion, and be supportive of a collaborative work environment. Successful applicants must be dependable, flexible, and dedicated to providing excellent customer service to library visitors. Previous library or public service experience is preferred.
