Consulting Services Group (CSG) is seeking a Logistics Support Analyst to oversee and optimize on-site customer logistical operations. This role will be responsible for customer inventory control, transportation coordination, and ensuring all operations align with applicable federal guidelines and contract standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong organization and communication skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Lead logistics strategy for customer inventory and oversee how they are distributed to meet operational needs.
  • Facilitate customer relationships, acting as a key point of contact between the customer's organization and customer's external partners.
  • Responsible for the review and updates to various standard operating procedures.
  • Support customer shipping and receiving requests in accordance with applicable guidelines and procedures.
  • Track and monitor government-furnished and contractor acquired property.
  • Provide transportation support and assist with related logistical activities.
  • Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARs, and other applicable federal and local regulations.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and mitigate risks.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business management or a related field.
    • An Associate's Degree and 2 years of additional experience will be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree or a High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of additional experience will be considered in lieu of Bachelor's Degree.

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. citizenship is required due to federal security clearance requirements.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret level security clearance.
  • Sponsorship for employment-based visas (e.g., H-1B, OPT, Green Card) is not available for this position due to federal security clearance requirements.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Office Suite (Word, Outlook, and Excel).
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles, cycle counts, and stock reconciliation.
  • Knowledge of compliance standards related to shipping, receiving, and material handling.
  • Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to new environments and changing requirements.
  • Two (2)+ years' experience in logistics-related positions.
  • Significant focus on attention to detail and comfortable with technical detail.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience managing shipping/receiving workflows and coordinating with vendors or carriers.
  • Experience with logistics software, such as ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and inventory management software.
  • Prior experience providing logistics support for a military or government customer.

Job location: Onsite in Woodbridge, Virginia

Work Environment

  • This is a full-time position working normal workday hours, Monday to Friday, with weekends and holidays off.
  • Work is typically performed on-site in an office environment and in a warehouse.
  • Requires the ability to lift, carry, or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Requires the ability to handle boxes, packages, or inventory materials.
  • Requires the ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and standing.
  • Occasional transportation support utilizing a company vehicle.

Travel:

  • Occasional local travel may be required.
