Limits fraudulent acts using Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) gates. Supervises and provides breaks for all ticket scanners. Essentially work as a village ambassador for the Lift Operations department. Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities: Ensures ticket scanning crew verifies every ticket or season pass using a tablet and RFID gates. Obtain knowledge of ticket products and understanding of how and when they can be used. Maintains proper functioning of tablets and RFID gates in coordination with IT. May cross train with other elements of the Lift Operations Department. Provides breaks for ticket scanners and occasionally lift operators in the village area. Leads up to 6 crew members and functions as an assistant to the Lift Operation Supervisors and Manager. Functions as an information source for all resort guests. Works closely with Schweitzer Security department to handle individuals using fraudulent passes. Secondary Responsibilities: May assist with snow/ ramp maintenance at lift stations. Must have or be willing to obtain extensive knowledge of Schweitzer Mountain facilities, activities and events. Additional - Pleasant guest interaction skills. Education/Related Experience: Minimum education required - English writing and communication, basic math. Minimum time in related position - 1 year winter resort experience. Prefer prior supervisory experience. Lift experience a plus but not required.
