Project Manager - PreFab

IES Commercial, Inc. - DBA IES Electrical, seeking Prefabrication Project Manager, Lithia Springs, Georgia.

Job Summary

• Over sees daily operations of prefab warehouses, ensuring efficient production, assembly, and delivery of prefabricated electrical components for Mission Critical projects.
• Leads and manages all operations of prefab warehouses, including production scheduling, material planning, and quality control.
• Collaborates with project managers, VDC/BIM teams, and field leadership to identify prefabrication opportunities and delivery of assemblies to meet installation requirements.
• Maintains strict adherence to IES Mission Critical's safety-first culture and quality standards.
• Oversees workforce management including staffing, training, and performance of warehouse employees.
• Develops and implements standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve productivity, reduction of waste, and assurance of consistent timely deliveries.
• Monitors inventory levels and coordinates with purchasing for timely material procurement.
• Tracks production metrics and provides regular reporting to leadership.
• Drives continuous improvement initiatives leveraging lean construction practices.
• Travel as required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years electrical construction expereince, with 2+ years prefabrication, warehouse, or production management experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, assemblies, and construction methods.
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills in managing warehouse or production teams.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings, BIM models, and prefabrication details.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with construction management software and inventory systems is a Plus.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality assurance, and efficiency within all operations.
• Ability to travel.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.
