Your Impact
As a Specialist in Travel Insights, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decision-making within the Optimize Travel team. You will own the analytics workstreams related to all travel categories, including data management, dashboard creation and maintenance and ad-hoc reporting to drive efficiency and create impact.
You will drive the analytical agenda across multiple categories and teams, including balancing demand and prioritization. You will collaborate with Optimize Travel leadership and other relevant firm leaders to create success metrics for category and program related initiatives, develop and execute tools and techniques to manage the portfolio of analytics and reporting.
You will develop a deep understanding of travel trends and build strong relationships with key stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include analyzing travel data, generating actionable insights, and supporting ad-hoc requests to address evolving business needs. You will manage the team including recruiting, developing and evaluating team members; provide coaching, mentoring and support to colleagues (direct and indirect reports) as appropriate.
Your work will directly influence how the firm optimizes its travel program, ensuring it aligns with category objectives and broader organizational goals. By delivering high-quality analytics and innovative solutions, you will help the team uncover opportunities to improve efficiency, enhance the traveler experience, and achieve cost savings. Your contributions will be instrumental in shaping the future of travel at the firm.

Your qualifications and skills
  • University degree in business, finance, engineering, operations, or another analytical field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in analytics, business, consulting, or quantitative fields.
  • Strong understanding of analytics tools and problem-solving methodologies to analyse and interpret data effectively.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and database tools, including but not limited to Tableau, Power BI, Tableau Prep, Alteryx, KNIME, and Snowflake.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and organizational levels in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset, with strong time management skills to thrive in a complex and largely autonomous work environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to adjust your style to suit different perspectives and seniority levels.
