Maintenance Technician - JLL

What this job involves:

Responsible for maintaining and repairing critical building systems to ensure optimal facility operations. In this hands-on role, you'll perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems while utilizing your technical expertise to keep our client's facility running smoothly. You'll work with state-of-the-art equipment and building automation systems, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions that maintain the highest standards of operational excellence. What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Client satisfaction must be maintained through exceptional delivery of facility management services while adhering to all JLL and client policies and procedures in a consistently safe manner.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is essential to support team operations and meet client expectations, while maintaining up-to-date system documentation in a centralized location for all repairs and system changes.
  • Continuous monitoring of operations is required with necessary adjustments to ensure proper equipment function, along with analytical abilities to diagnose system problems and recommend corrective actions to management.
  • Work performance standards include minimizing disruption during tasks, conducting immediate cleanup of work areas, completing preventative maintenance task sheets, and promptly reporting equipment or system issues.
  • Safety compliance encompasses departmental policies for hazardous material storage, usage, and disposal, while completing all required safety training in a timely manner as scheduled.
  • Facility soft services support may be required as directed, including meeting preparation, conference room reservations, food services, parking management, vending oversight, and badging assistance along with other assigned duties.

    Qualifications

    • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required for this position, with college degree or trade school training being strongly preferred for additional technical knowledge.
    • Two or more years of relevant experience is mandatory, demonstrating proven ability in facility operations and maintenance responsibilities.
    • Strong teamwork abilities and excellent interpersonal skills are essential, along with effective oral and written communication capabilities for reporting and client interaction.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required, combined with general knowledge of computer equipment and program operations.
    • Physical requirements include the ability to regularly lift items up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds during daily work activities.
    • Safe operation of electric hand tools and required equipment is mandatory, along with the ability to carry tools and maintain equipment in proper working condition.
    • Occasional work in confined spaces such as closets, crawl spaces, attics, and vaults requires comfort and safety awareness in close quarters environments.

    8:30am -5pm Mon-Fri or 10am-6:30pm Mon-Fri

    $55,120-59,280
