ATI is seeking to hire a Design Engineering Intern for our Summer 2026 Internship Program. This position will be based in Irvine, CA and will run from June to August 2026. Relocation and housing assistance is available for the summer.

As an intern at ATI, you'll gain hands-on experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with teams that do truly exceptional things. The projects and skills outlined below will be guided and directed by an established ATI-Professional in your field of interest.

What You'll Do

• Work closely with our engineering team to support ongoing projects
• Obtain aerospace manufacturing experience through the assistance of the engineering team
• Perform other engineering duties as assigned.

What You'll Gain

• Experience working in forging environment
• Lean manufacturing experience

Basic Qualifications

• College Student Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering related field
• Must be Sophomore standing or above in college

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering prints and drawings
• Basic computer aided design (CAD) understanding and principles of engineering (thermodynamics, mechanics of materials, etc.)
• Basic GD&T understanding is a plus
• Ability to write simple macros and programs is a plus

Pay $20-$27/Hour Depending upon experience
