Summary of Position

Kinsley is seekingSite Foreman andEquipmentOperatorsto join our growing civil site pipe crews in Hagerstown, MD, and surrounding areas, including Clarksburg, Frederick, MD, and Winchester, VA. Ideal candidates will have prior experience operating loaders, and backhoes, a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.

Typical Responsibilities / Essential Functions

FOREMAN

  • Effectively lead, manage, and motivate crews of 5 to 10 individuals.
  • Successfully manage and schedule subcontractors
  • Interpret blueprints, project plans, and specifications.
  • Responsible for the production process
  • Plan and schedule for necessary manpower, tools, materials, and equipment to complete the job.
  • Responsible for completing daily timesheets and maintaining daily logs.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

GENERAL EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

  • Operates various heavy equipment in compliance with Kinsley's safety standards.
  • Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of construction practices and site requirements.
  • Ensures equipment is maintained through regular checks and servicing.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as necessary to support the team and achieve project goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as track loaders, graders, or similar machinery.
  • Knowledge of underground utilities and general construction processes.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and contributing to a safe job site environment.
  • Punctuality and dependability are essential.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment DOT physical and drug/alcohol screening.
