• In coordination with the Director of Nursing, coordinate, guide, direct the implementation of new/special projects for improving delivery of care and evaluate as needed;
  *Guide, coordinate and direct the development and maintenance of a system of evaluation of nursing care, practices and procedures, including the evaluation of nursing personnel within the clinical service at the clinic.
• Maintains clinical expertise in specialty and is available as a resource person for nursing personnel and other health team members in clinic.
  *Participates in the determination of conditions, resources and polices essential to the delivery of nursing care within the clinical service for the clinic and act as a mentor for new and incumbent staff;
  *Maintains orientation and educational records of programs presented/attended; submits reports in timely manner;
  *Possess strong computer skills along with the ability to educate users on computer;
  *Initiates and maintain a system of communication with staff during clinic hours of operation;
  *Participates in Departmental QI, Infection Control, Discharge Planning and accreditation activities;
  *Provides supervision to assigned areas at all sites;
  *Serves as a resource person to unit staff and assumes responsibility for the management of several units at all sites, as designated on weekends/and all tours;
  *Provide direct care to patients in all clinical areas as needed.
• Actively participates in scheduled supervisory meetings/classes and continuing education programs.
  *Review and analyze trends pertinent to the delivery of nursing care within the clinical service at all sites and initiates appropriate innovations or makes recommendations for needed changes.
• Plan, organize, revise, conduct and evaluate didactic and clinical orientation programs for new nursing staff, supervises clinical experience of nurses during orientation period; makes recommendations for follow-up orientation when appropriate for Clinic.
  *Develop, plan, assist in the preparation, implementation, evaluation of training for nursing personnel and educational activities for professional and allied nursing personnel at all sites; Circulates schedules and individually communicate information regarding in-services, classes and courses;
