Salesforce is pioneering the future of Agentic AI - AI-powered digital agents that transform how customers interact with our website, products, and events.This role blends the strengths of data engineering, semantic data modeling, and marketing analytics, making the Senior Decision Scientist a key driver of Agentic AI measurement and insight at Salesforce.

This high-impact individual contributor role will own the end-to-end measurement strategy for our Web Agent and Event Agent, design the semantic data foundations in Salesforce Data Cloud, and unify real-time customer signals for identity resolution. You will blend engineering-level technical depth, data modeling expertise, and marketing analytics acumen to ensure Salesforce can both prove ROI today and enable next-generation conversational analytics in Tableau Next.

Areas You'll Cover

1. Agent Measurement & Analytics

  • Propose and execute a comprehensive measurement strategy for Salesforce's external Agents.

  • Leverage expertise in product analytics, telemetry, and instrumentation to ensure high-quality event capture in Agentforce logs and Salesforce Data Cloud.

  • Integrate Agentforce data with Google Analytics (GA/GA4) for web-analytics-style reporting on agent engagement and funnel impact.

2. Data Modeling & Semantic Layer Foundations

  • Partner with engineering to design Data Model Objects and semantic layers in Salesforce Data Cloud.

  • Build scalable data foundations that power conversational, natural language-driven analytics experiences in Tableau Next.

  • Ensure semantic consistency and governance across metrics, reducing fragmented reporting.

3. Real-Time Signals & Identity Resolution

  • Lead projects that integrate real-time web analytics signals (via APIs) with Salesforce Data Cloud.

  • Enrich customer profiles by linking anonymous web traffic to known identifiers (e.g., Trailblazer ID, Lead ID, Contact ID from CRM).

  • Identify and close data coverage gaps to improve personalization and attribution accuracy.

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 7+ years of experience in analytics, decision science, or product data roles.

  • Strong expertise in SQL and working knowledge of Python or R.

  • Hands-on experience with web analytics (Google Analytics/GA4) and event log/telemetry data.

  • Proven track record designing data models and semantic layers in platforms like Salesforce Data Cloud, Snowflake, or BigQuery.

  • Ability to translate complex data into business-ready insights tied to funnel, lead generation, and pipeline contribution.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, bridging data engineering, product, and business teams.

Preferred

  • Experience with Tableau or other BI platforms; exposure to conversational analytics is a plus.

  • Background in customer data platforms (CDPs), identity resolution, or real-time data streaming.

  • Familiarity with AI agent frameworks (Agentforce, chatbots, or conversational AI systems).

  • Comfort working in emerging product spaces, with curiosity to learn and adopt new tools quickly.
