Ski perks (vary based on employment status) may include Deer Valley season pass, free skiing or riding at other Alterra Resorts and select local Utah resorts Friends and family ski discounts, free staff ski lessons and discounted rentals (winter staff only) Subsidized meals at Employee Dining Rooms offered for staff while on shift Subsidized housing options available for seasonal full-time staff Discounts for staff members at restaurants, shops, and service providers in Park City Healthcare options are available for staff members 401k plan with company match PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Guest Service Agent is responsible for ensuring guest, owner, and employee satisfaction at Empire Pass. RESPONSIBILITIES: Check guests and owners in and out of Empire properties Facilitate a smooth check-in and check-out for our guests and owners Answer the phone in a professional manager and transfer calls as appropriate Post folio charges, perform folio reconciliation, and create shift reports Assist with owner and guest requests and proactively solve guest problems Provide guests with directions and activity recommendations Concierge duties, including making reservations for restaurants and activities Assist in coordinating transportation for guests Drive guests locally in the company vehicle Handle cash and credit card transactions and settle guest balances upon departure Perform residence inspections prior to guest arrival and after departure Sell lift tickets, shovel guest decks, and assist guests with luggage Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of Deer Valley and Park City area preferred Must be available to work a varied schedule, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs. Hold a valid U.S. driver's license and be able to drive company vehicles Must be able to stand/walk for entirety of shift DATES OF EMPLOYMENT: Flex Year Round - may have periods of layoff or reduced hours PAY RATE $20.00 per hour Deer Valley Resort is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
