Performs a variety of administrative and scientific activities necessary to support the research and academic responsibilities of the Research Laboratory.
Does this position require Patient Care? No Essential Functions: -Drafting experimental plans for studies to be conducted. -Conducting studies in vitro and in relevant animal models. -Conducting background research in the field of inquiry; developing and presenting background summaries and presentations as necessary. -Ordering and managing supplies and consumables for specific projects. -Supporting the drafting of scientific reports (for sponsored research) and journal articles for peer reviewed publications on the results of research at appropriate time points. -Responsible for preparing summaries of laboratory studies for meeting presentations and for publications. -Calculates, transcribes, and analyzes data using statistical techniques. -Attendance and participation in weekly laboratory meetings. -Developing and documenting new experimental methods as needed. Education Master's Degree Related Field of Study required Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree?
