The Position


This entry-level position reports to the Chief Inspector and plays a key role in ensuring aircraft parts and materials are received, processed, documented and shipped accurately.

Requirements

Responsibilities



  • Unpack and visually inspect incoming aircraft parts and materials
  • Receive and record materials used in the repair of aircraft components
  • Prepare and package parts for outside repair or processing
  • File and maintain repair order paperwork and related documentation
  • Maintain the photo database and manage records inventory, storage and proper disposal


Qualifications



  • Must comply with DOT-mandated drug and alcohol screening
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods
  • Basic computer literacy (data entry, records management)
  • Previous experience in materials handling within an FAA Part 145 repair station preferred but not required
