Job Description

RR Donnelley is looking to add a Junior Data Stewards to their team!

In this role, you will perform advanced administrative and clerical support for Supervisors/Managers/Executives to ensure that departmental needs are met.The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills and experience working in a fast-paced environment within the financial services sector. This role will be responsible for the data intake and ensuring the quality / integrity of our CRM data which is critical to our investment banking operations

Responsibilities:

  • Read, interpret, and abstract key information from emails and documents, ensuring that essential details are captured and accurately reflected in CRM database.

  • Perform data quality assessments and regular data cleansing activities including merging duplicate contacts, researching company information, standardizing data, and ensuring that the necessary data fields are populated according to firm standards.

  • Identify and resolve data-related issues and discrepancies.

  • Research internal and external sources to update records and/or complete inaccurate or missing information.

  • Develop data intake and tracking processes, determining the best methods for collecting data.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align data management efforts with business needs.

  • Manage "one time" or special initiative data entry projects.

  • Data reconciliation between various proprietary or third-party systems.

  • Willingness to learn and quickly adapt to organizational structure, culture and changing business needs.

  • Capable of working in high pressure environment.

  • Collaborative, resourceful, and driven with a genuine desire to ensure team success.

  • Develop strong working relationships with various teams across the firm.

  • Teamwork - ability to collaborate in a professional and constructive manner.

  • Strong work-ethic with ability to perform with minimal manager direction, take ownership and work independently.

  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM.

  • Pro-active approach to accuracy and attention to details.

  • Detail oriented and highly organized.

  • Analytical skills with the ability to dig in.

  • Ability to meet deadlines and respond to requests in a timely manner.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong knowledge of all MS Office Applications and Excel skills.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in Finance, Information Technology or related field preferred

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in data management; preferably within investment banking or financial services industry

  • Experience in conflicts clearing / client onboarding is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) a plus.
  • Proactive and resourceful in identifying and addressing data issues.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively, both in oral and written form
  • Resourceful, driven attitude with a genuine desire to ensure team success
  • Must maintain confidentiality of work-related information and materials
  • Must establish and maintain effective working relationships in or out of a team environment
  • Understands and adopts the organizational structure
  • Possesses the attitude of collaboration and sharing
  • Willingness to learn and adopt new methodologies

Additional Information

RRD's current salary range for this role is $39,100 to $54,700 / year. The salary range may be adjusted based on the applicable geographic location of the hired employee, and the range may change in the future. At RRD, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions may vary based upon, but not limited to education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. Depending on the role, in addition to base salary, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program. RRD's benefit offerings include medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, life insurance and other voluntary supplemental insurance coverages, plus parental leave, adoption assistance, tuition assistance and employer/partner discounts.
