Machine/Edge Operator

The Manual Edger Operator is responsible for operating edger machines to process and finish lenses according to Rx specifications. This role includes sorting lenses, setting up and running machines, beveling, inspecting accuracy and fit, and ensuring product quality. The operator performs light maintenance, follows safety procedures, and supports production goals while maintaining less than 2% wastage. Cross-training in other areas and assisting with departmental tasks may be required. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, adherence to SOPs, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
