Your Role

The Information Security, Risk, and Operations team is responsible for protecting the organization's data and systems while ensuring the delivery of secure, reliable, and efficient IT services through risk mitigation, compliance, incident response, and continuous service improvement. The Technology Business Management Specialist will report to the Chief Information Security Officer. In this role you will play a critical role in scaling the impact of the Information Security, Risk, and Operations organization. You'll drive strategic alignment, operational excellence, and cross-functional execution-ensuring the team delivers on its mission to protect sensitive healthcare data and enable trust in digital health. By leveraging artificial intelligence and automation, you'll help modernize security operations and accelerate decision-making. This is a high-visibility role that influences enterprise-wide priorities and helps shape the future of cybersecurity and operational excellence in healthcare technology. Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and at least 10 years of prior relevant experience
  • Requires mastery level knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience
  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, risk management, or related fields preferred

  • 3+ years in "Chief of Staff", strategy, or program leadership roles preferred

  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HITRUST, HITECH) and cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, CIS).

  • Experience with AI/ML applications in cybersecurity or risk domains.

  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

  • Proven ability to lead through influence and drive outcomes in complex environments.

  • Experience in a healthcare technology company or other regulated industry.

  • Familiarity with enterprise security tools, GRC platforms, and AI-enhanced threat intelligence platforms.

  • MBA, MHA, or advanced degree in a relevant field.

  • For process design has relevant certifications, or hands-on proven expertise, in BPM and/or Lean Sigma methodology, tools, techniques
  • Ability to deal with highly confidential information and act as a liaison between the business leader and other constituencies, both internal and external
  • Ability to prioritize and manage work and trade-offs against critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strategic thinker that is self-driven, who has an eye for detail, is organized, and can manage multiple programs simultaneously
  • Excellent influence and engagement skills in building alignment and accountability without formal ownership or authority over talent resources
