Here's what you'd do:

• The Operations Specialist is directly responsible for specialized functions within Trade Processing.
• This includes the processing and settling security trades at DTC and security and cash movements on custody, client communication, and reconciliation.
• Process assigned tasks efficiently and effectively for our custody clients and accounts.
• Verify trade information vs. broker presentation, security, and cash transactions received from the client.
• Manage daily volume.
• Review and resolve trade discrepancies with the necessary parties.
• Escalate problem trades to management.
• Communicate professionally and constructively via email and phone with internal and external clients and counterparties to effectively resolve issues and minimize risk and exposure.
• Provide superior client service.
• Communicate as part of a team.
• Gain efficiencies to improve individual productivity.
• Gain an understanding of the big picture - how a specific function impacts the firm.
• Contribute to Division or Firm process improvement activities.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $26/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week.

Length: Temp (6 Months).
