TowneBank has a culture that:
LEAD (Leadership Exploration and Development) is a leadership and management development program. Scheduled to begin in July 2026, this program offers onsite training at the bank's headquarters in Suffolk, VA. The first half of the program is spent in specific job rotations throughout our headquarters in Hampton Roads. The second half of the program is spent in specific on-the-job training in a selected Career Track (see below) within one of Towne's regions. The LEAD Program is designed to develop the skills and knowledge to be a successful leader in a top-performing financial institution. Learning opportunities include presentation skills, advanced communication, business etiquette, ethics, financial management, and more. Participate in classroom and online learning, job rotations, special projects, group activities, and community volunteerism. Build professional networks, receive mentoring from previous program graduates and executives, participate in employee resource groups, and engage with local community organizations. The LEAD program includes a strong focus on our mission of serving others and enriching lives, from both the professional and philanthropic perspective. Career Tracks Available
