Position Title: Machine Operator Assistant Wage: $18.00 - $19.00/Hour Shift: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift Hours: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM (Monday - Friday) Reached a dead end at your current job? Machine Operator Assistant Responsibilities: - Set-up rails, print stations, folding, gluing, and/or die cut section on the equipment - Inspect all tooling before and after run to ensure that any necessary repairs are made before the next run - Inspect anilox rolls for damage before and after each run - Monitor and check quality in accordance with the shop copy - Properly operate machine to run efficiently and produce quality products - Separate corrugate onto the pallet Requirements For Machine Operator Assistant: - Must be able to stand for 8+ hours a day - Must be able to bend and twist - Must be able to push up to 50 lbs - Must be able to lift 30 to 50 lbs. occasionally - High School Diploma or GED preferred - Prior work experience in the corrugated industry preferred - 6 month of experience as an operator assistant - Excellent oral and written communication skills QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
