Perform basic manufacturing and packaging functions related to production of bird and small animal food products or fish food products. Line workers are responsible for a variety of tasks, including placing, packing boxes, stacking pallets, reworking product or product packaging, cleaning, and other general manufacturing duties. Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerform a variety of manufacturing tasks, packing bags or tubs of product into boxes, stacking product onto pallets, line clean-up, and general cleaning and housekeeping Identify and report quality defects and Food Safety concerns Rework product and product packaging as directed Perform basic machine operations involved with packaging product Maintain a tidy workplace using lean manufacturing and 5S principles Follow all food safety required procedures. Comply with all company policies and procedures Other duties as assigned Being flexible with daily duties that are assigned. Practice good GMP's Education and Experience ProfileHigh school diploma or equivalent One year (1) related experience and/or training Required Skills Able to read, comprehend, and legibly write English. Able to lift up to 20 lbs. Must possess organizational and teamwork skills Able to stand at work stations and use material handling equipment to move products. Able to operate digital and dial scales.
