POSITION SUMMARY
Join a team that's making a difference in people's lives every day. Under the guidance of a Program Manager, you'll play a vital role in supporting patients on their recovery journey. This position provides individual counseling, case management, and group education for individuals and families impacted by alcohol and drug dependency. With compassion, expertise, and commitment, you'll help foster hope, healing, and long-term recovery.



WHAT YOU BRING

Education




  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health, or a related field.




Knowledge




  • A solid foundation in individual and group counseling, along with family education techniques, ideally developed in a substance abuse treatment or related mental health setting.




Skills




  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build trust and connect with patients, families, colleagues, and community partners.



  • Strong written communication and documentation abilities to support effective treatment planning and collaboration.




Licensure/Certification




  • Current certification by the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors as a CAC-AD, CSC-AD, or Addiction Counselor Trainee.




Experience




  • At least one year of experience in substance abuse or mental health (pre- or post-degree).

Salary Range: Minimum /hour - Maximum /hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
