What to Expect We are looking for a talented, passionate Localization Specialist to join our growing team based in Fremont, California. Tesla Localization team manages 50 locales, across 40 markets, covering 30+ languages and counting. To ensure high-quality translations ontesla.comand other digital products, we need an experienced Technical Localization Specialist who understands both technical content as well as software development and will be able to work effectively with our product managers, developers, and third-party vendors to create a seamless and positive user experience. What You'll Do Supportlocalization production (translation, review, QA, CMS/TMS, etc.), Create and maintain linguistic assets (TMs, glossaries, style guides, reference material, etc.) Identify and fix linguistic, formatting, tagging, or market-specific issues before translation Test new integrations with our translation tools, file parsing, and workflows Work with developers on localization issues, support and troubleshoot issues with our internal translation pipeline tool Work with external vendors to manage translation schedules and quality, develop and maintain key relationships with cross-functional teams Create and maintain documentation for dev/product teams requiring localization AI Translation evaluation/implementation & Post-Editing processes What You'll Bring Degree in Engineering, Translation Studies or similar, or equivalent experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
