TEKsystems is currently seeking an experience Desktop Support Technician for a short-term contract located in Caldwell, ID. Schedule will be on-site in Caldwell Monday-Friday 8:00a.m.-5:00p.m. $25/hr. W2 About the Project The project team will be responsible for outfitting the new site with all necessary hardware, peripherals, and workstation-specific components tailored to end-user needs. Skills Desktop, Imaging, Windows 10, Support, Troubleshooting, Hardware About the Position The Deployment Technician will play a critical role in setting up and configuring end-user workstations at the new site. This includes installing hardware, connecting peripherals, imaging devices, and ensuring that each workstation is fully functional and aligned with standards. The technician will collaborate closely with onsite staff to ensure a seamless setup experience. Top Skills * 2+ years of IT hardware deployment or desktop support experience * Strong understanding of workstation setup, peripheral integration, and basic networking * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Ability to work independently and in a team environment Responsibilities/Tasks * Deploy and configure desktop computers, monitors, printers, and other peripherals * Image devices with the approved Trinity Health operating system and software stack * Ensure proper installation of operating systems and standard applications * Coordinate with end users to tailor workstation setups to specific departmental needs * Troubleshoot setup issues and resolve hardware/software conflicts * Document deployment activities and update asset tracking systems * Provide basic orientation to users on workstation functionality * Collaborate with project managers and IT leadership to meet deployment timelines Key Qualities * Coachable and adaptable * Self-starter with strong attention to detail * Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment * Reliable and punctual with a commitment to quality Skills Desktop, Windows 10, Support, Troubleshooting, Hardware Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
