Welder/Fitter (2nd Shift) Company: TriMas Company LLC Primary Location: 1451 N Johnson Ave, El Cajon, CA 92020 USA Workplace Type: On-site Employment Type: Hourly | Full-Time Function: Manufacturing Production / Distribution Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled Main Duties & Responsibilities This occupation requires knowledge in basic welding skills, GTAW and GMA.W. Perform such operations as help fit welding assemblies and do basic welding on Assemblies. Able to read basic blueprints. This occupation requires performing manual tasks requiring moderate physical exertion, including lifting, bending and considerable time standing. * Able to read basic blueprints * Assist Journeyman Welder fit and weld assemblies. * Weld assemblies and use fixtures to assemble parts. * Apply welds using the TIG & MIG method. * Perform all other duties as assigned or directed. * Must have own welding hood. * Operate various hand grinders. * Other duties as needed. On-Site: This role is required to be on-site 4 days at the El Cajon, CA location. Qualifications Minimum two (2) years' experience as a welder, or a certificate from welding trade school or ROP type program. * 2+ years of experience as a welder * Experience in assisting fabrication of parts to engineering drawings. * Fabricate parts with supervision. * Be willing to work at assigned jobs in or outside the welding field. Compensation In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $25-$30. Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
