City/State Norfolk, VAWork Shift First (Days)Overview: Tax AccountantPrimary responsibilities include the preparation of state and local tax filings and the payment of associated liabilities. This position reports to the Supervisor and is responsible for the timely preparation and filing of various state and local non-income tax returns primarily in Virginia and North Carolina. A Bachelor's level Degree in an accounting-related field is required. CPA candidate is preferred, but not required. Bachelor's level degree in accounting or business management required. Position requires in-office scheduling five days a week until approval from Supervisor to begin Hybrid schedule. Education
