Description
**2nd Shift Monday through Friday 3:00pm to 11:00pm** Monitor and assist with the flow of production parts through the NAP processes. This position coordinates with the Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams to eliminate delays throughout the process. Essential Job Functions:
- Receive incoming product and enter into ERP System.
- Package product and prepare product for shipment.
- Facilitate deliveries and pickups from customers and vendors, as necessary.
- Operate forklift and pallet jack as required.
- Read and process work instructions provided, per job or product.
- Analyze and problem solve on a daily basis.
- Run various equipment to assist in the production of customer product.
- Clean, prep, and mask customer product for processing.
- Maintain general upkeep and appearances of the facility.
- Inspect customer product, as required.
- Perform chemical analysis of the processing tanks, as required.
Additional Duties:
- Provide support for Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives, companywide.
- Other duties, reporting, special assignments, or projects as needed and assigned.
- Must remain current with, and complete all required training as assigned.
- Must adhere to Company Corporate EHS Policy and department, occupation, and task specific safety protocols, including but not limited to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
Qualifications:
- Highly organized and able to prioritize and execute a high volume of tasks while paying close attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels of the organization.
- Proficient in the use of computer skills (ERP System (Vantage and/or E-10 preferred), MS Word, Excel etc.)
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Mechanical aptitude - preferred
- Knowledge of Outside Processing - preferred
- Team Player
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurability
- Must submit to and satisfactorily pass any pre-employment screening required for employment with the Company.
- Must take medical exams required by law, in conjunction with occupation specific activities, the physical work environment, and ongoing industrial hygiene sampling results.
- Depending on assignment, may be required to use stairs, remain upright and/or seated for prolonged timeframes, intermittently reposition the body per various tasks performed, and use various tools and work-related supplies.
- May be required to perform manual lifting activities, not to exceed a 40lb lift performed by one individual.
Education:
- Highschool diploma or GED
