Aon has an established network of Aon Korea Global Solutions (AKGS) desks that source and service investments and projects from Korean entities worldwide.

The network demonstrates desks in Asia-Pacific, EMEA, and the Americas. Each desk has three primary objectives:

  1. Leading development and servicing of Korean overseas business opportunities that emerge within a defined geography;
  2. Working with Aon Korea to progress opportunities emanating out of Korea
  3. Acting as local "ambassadors" to facilitate visits by project sponsors and investors visiting from Korea. Each desk, while reporting to the local leadership and historically working quite independently, is now expected to work much more closely together and with AKGS Global Leaders.

The Korea Global Solutions - USA will be a Producer, reporting through the Korea Global Solutions Team, and shall be a strong communicator, influencer, and team leader, with extensive business experience and exposure to Korean business environment. Insurance knowledge would be a notable advantage.

What the day will look like Strategic Client Engagement
  • Serve as a resource for global client teams and account management on Korean client relationships / prospects
  • Work closely with Aon Korea, Aon resources and wider Korea Global Solutions (KGS) network to develop Korea outbound business strategy, account management and alignment
  • Act as a senior advisor on strategic Korean multinational client relationships on a global basis, including ECG accounts
  • Provide leadership strategy in handling global client relationships across all aspects of Korean MNC clients
  • Coordinate and lead global Client Planning process on select accounts to find opportunities across solution line and geography, on a global scale
  • Direct involvement supporting and driving Enterprise Client Group (ECG) strategy for select Korean multinationals, working with Enterprise Client Leaders
  • Help colleagues expand their professional knowledge for clients and utilize Aon resources and product solution lines.
Growth Strategy Implementation
  • Work with Market & Regional Leaders to implement growth strategies that increase KGS revenue
  • Extend KGS position in all Aon global geographies and work with solution line colleagues to better engage Korean multinationals with Aon product and solution offerings
  • Promote the Aon brand through initiated marketing events and on social platforms
  • Understand and track the growth of the KGS business globally to support the budget process and ensure timely hiring to progress targets
Leadership
  • Build trusted relationships with the leadership of Korea, Risk Capital and Human Capital and Enterprise Client Group that facilitates and encourages collaboration and Aon United opportunities
  • May manage talent at a Regional level, hiring within a regional framework, setting career paths, and developing expertise
  • Build high performing teams, developing HiPo talent and address the gaps in expertise
How this opportunity is different
  • Act as the ambassador of AKGS and contribute actively to the development of AKGS brand globally
  • Compile and maintain a global sales pipeline in partnership with Aon Korea and all AKGS Desks
  • Support multi-country sales/service processes by coordinating with relevant AKGS desks, resources in Aon Korea, Enterprise Client Group and other Aon units
  • Suggest and implement processes and mechanism for further communication and collaboration among all AKGS Desks, Aon Korea, and other relevant Aon units
  • Actively facilitate the flow of market intelligence among different AKGS desks and Aon Korea
  • Present the best Aon solutions to clients with Aon's overall best interest in mind
Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Strong command of both Korean and English language in business and bi-cultural context
  • Strong experience in leading and handling client relationships that grow and develop into key business relationships
  • Successfully implemented growth plans and budget for client portfolio, contributing to the annual planning cycle
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Aon partners to effectively prospect for and acquire new clients, resulting in revenue growth
  • Built inclusive teams, fosters an environment in which all employees are valued and heard
  • Multi-culturally aware and able to influence and build strong C-level relationships across borders

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of industry experience

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $150,000 to $175,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

The salary range reflected is based on a primary work location of Atlanta, GA. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive production incentives in addition to base salary. The amount of any production incentives varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
