Floor Technician (5:00 pm - 1:30 am)

This is a full-time, benefit eligible, job working evening hours (5:00 pm to 1:30 am). Monday - Friday is the primary shift. Weekend and over-time hours may be required in addition to the primary shift as work dictates.

Under direct supervision, performs carpet care and hard surface restoration of building and working areas. Uses proper and established methods and materials. Follows a well-established routine.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching all day. The employee must frequently lift and move items up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED

2 years of related experience preferred. Previous floor experience highly desirable

Attention to detail

Ability to listen and understand spoken information and ideas

Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs and lift, push, pull or carry objects.
