You Are: The ideal candidate for the product technical management function as an Executive Director in the Synopsys EDA's ICV Product Line that includes physical, logic, and reliability verification and sign-off EDA offerings. In this role you will lead the definition and execution of Synopsys EDA roadmaps for the products assigned, working with Synopsys R&D to develop solutions required to serve customers needs ahead of when they are required. You will be managing a small yet growing team of individuals that will ensure both Synopsys Go to Market teams and the semiconductor ecosystem understand the value of of Synopsys' verification offering. You are highly motivated, with a passion for innovation and the ability to work collaboratively across engineering, product management and sales teams to ensure alignment to initiatives. You are comfortable working as an individual contributor and managing and guiding a team as the Synopsys ICV Product Management grows. What You'll Be Doing:
The Impact You Will Have: Enhance Synopsys' presence and footprint within the Physical, Logic, and Reliability markets. Expand the offering by developing new solutions that are unique to the market by integrating recently acquired products into a larger Synopsys ICV offering. Work with the Synopsys ecosystem partnership managers and with Synopsys R&D ensuring optimal partner integration. Strengthen Synopsys' influence and thought leadership within the EDA and semiconductor ecosystem through compelling presentations and industry engagement. Build and maintain trust-based relationships with partners to facilitate collaboration and proactive management of partnership dynamics. Navigate complex partnership discussions and agreements, balancing Synopsys' needs with mutually beneficial outcomes for partners. What You'll Need: 20+ years of relevant EDA/semiconductor product management and marketing experience; BS/MS, in Electrical Engineering and or Device Physics required. PhD in your field a plus as would be an MBA. Deep expertise in understanding the Semiconductor ecosystem, and expertise writing Marketing Requirements Documents. Be a well-known commodity within the semiconductor ecosystem with established relationships with key companies that lead the industry's verification requirements, Ability to influence manage across all elements of Synopsys such that the ICV offering gains market share ahead of industry trends Exceptional ability to drive and achieve results through self and others under time pressure. Excellent presentation, communications, and interpersonal skills. Ability to establish repeatable benchmarking processes such that Synopsys is able to best showcase their verification offering via the newly expanded ICV product platform The Team You'll Be A Part Of: You will be part of a dynamic team focused on greatly expanding ecosystem partnerships that enhance Synopsys' product offerings and market positioning. This team works closely with engineering, product management, sales, and marketing to align ecosystem partnership projects with Synopsys' strategic goals. This team will identify and cultivate new partnership opportunities, drive collaborative initiatives, and promote joint marketing programs to deliver solutions to the semiconductor market that mutual customers need as the world moves in multiple ways to design their offerings. It is no longer just "lets go to the next process node" but a "how do we best design this" world.
