Description and Requirements

We are hiring an IT Intern to join our IT Engineering team. This is a part time position located in Morrisville, NC. The target start date will be October 2025.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network issues (onsite and remote).
  • Assist in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computer systems, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Support routine maintenance tasks such as system updates, backups, and security checks.
  • Document IT processes, troubleshooting steps, and inventory updates.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding of employees (account setup, access rights, equipment preparation).
  • Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, cloud migration, or cybersecurity initiatives.
  • Collaborate with IT staff to identify and recommend technology improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies and data security standards.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursing a degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Familiar with network fundamentals (IP address, DNS, VPM).
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Previous internship experience is preferred.
