Your Job We are seeking an enthusiastic Entry-Level Chemical Engineer or an Engineer within another Engineering discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Paper Science, Process Engineering) to support process optimization and continuous improvement at our pulp and paper mill. This is an exciting opportunity for soon-to-be college graduates who want to apply their classroom learning, lab projects, and internship experiences in a real-world manufacturing environment. In this role, you will learn how to apply statistical process control (SPC), disciplined operations, and problem-solving methods to drive improvements in quality, safety, and efficiency. You will work closely with multiple departments, such as process control, quality, operations, and maintenance, to help sustain reliable and stable mill performance. Our Team You will be part of a highly collaborative Operations Excellence team, collaborating with operators, maintenance and reliability personnel and technical specialists who are dedicated to improving process stability, reducing costs, and delivering product quality.
