Job Description:

The Manager of Technical Services is responsible for providing technical expertise to develop, validate, and enhance manufacturing processes. Primary responsibilities include managing the team and programs involved in technical aspects of product lifecycle.

  1. Management of team responsible for transfer technology and process validation for new products or process improvements from Development to Manufacturing. Oversee resources availability to ensure ability to meet defined project scheduled and milestones.
  2. Plan and manage successive phases of developmental and transfer activities including production of research, Scale-Up, Exhibit/ Regulatory Registration, component changes and process validation batches, and continuous process verification & improvement.
  3. Manage resources to provide technical support to manufacturing (i.e. review SOPs, Protocols, reports etc.) and to the Quality Unit for deviation investigations, review and approval.
  4. Perform all supervisory duties for team. Assign daily work, hiring, performance management, training and other managerial duties.
  5. Manage resources to write and manage department SOPs, training etc to ensure regulatory compliance and operations enhancement. Provide guidance, review and approval for SOPs.
  6. Effectively manage team resources to ensure business needs are met.
  7. Maintain awareness of industry standards and regulatory requirements pertinent to the manufacture of pharaceutical products.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science: Science, Engineering, or related field required
  • 5-10 years related experience required
  • Supervisory, Pharmaceutical and FDA Regulated Industry experience required
  • Managerial Experience desired
  • Advanced vocational/specialized knowledge required
  • Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint experience required
  • Exposure to Allergens and Working in Aseptic Areas required
  • Minimal Travel: <10% required
  • Prolonged sitting/standing required

Shift: Weekday days, Monday-Friday

Compensation & Benefits:

This is an on-site, full-time position located in Spokane, WA.

  • Hiring Wage: $98,700 - $144,800 annually depending on experience, with opportunity for growth, promotion and annual raises. Midpoint and above is reserved for employees who have longevity with Jubilant HollisterStier and consistently exhibit outstanding performance over a period of time in the role
