How you will make history here...

The Distribution Requirements Planner coordinates and plans operational acquisition of Branded and/or Partner Brand products and materials for assigned facilities. This role communicates plans and dates to responsible persons in assigned facilities

What you will do...

* Manages Replenishment Plan of all finished goods, for assigned locations, adjusting for promotions and seasonality. Investigates inventory levels falling outside of corporate guidelines and communicates results to supervisor; proposes and discusses actions to resolve issues identified.
* Uses Region and Corporate Sales Planning Calendars from Demand Plan to stay abreast of promotional activity and new item introduction; maintains awareness of promotional information and activity affecting inventory needs.
* Reviews daily shipments to and from assigned facilities for assurance supply is meeting demand.
* Raises awareness to next level supervisor when supply and/or planned order levels appear outside of actual need.
* Gathers and generates Partner Brands orders, creating optimal deliveries to meet minimum order requirements and maximize shipping, handling, and manufacturing efficiencies.
* Reviews and approves distribution requirements plan 0-3 weeks prior to delivery unless requirements dictate otherwise.
* Supports Safety Stock levels as set by Supply Chain Planning; makes adjustments through collaboration and agreement with supervisor and Supply Chain Planning only.
* Meets deadlines for reviewing and approving of Distribution Requirements Plan.
* Reviews and acts upon all DRP Action/Exception messages daily.
* Communicates with manufacturing, transportation, and supply scheduling personnel as well as Partner Brands vendors regarding supply problems and potential solutions.
* Researches and resolves unplanned excess issues and unplanned under issues (shortages) on a daily basis via Demand Control.
* Updates and maintains current DRP operating data, including: planner and/or buyer code, planning lead times, safety stock, lead time offset, and other assigned data fields.
* May perform other duties as required.

Complexity and Scope
* Manages orders and schedules inventory for 4 or more DC or DSD warehouses.
* This role makes decisions affecting the overall DC or DSD warehouse inventory.
* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business communications, professional journals, procedure manuals, and technical procedures or governmental regulations.
* Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public within the company guidelines.
* Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; able to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
* Ability to lead and direct other planners in job execution and coordination of "cross location" orders.
* Ability to work with others to solve problems. Exhibits confidence in self and others. Inspires and motivates others to perform well.

What you bring to the table...

* Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school

* Minimum of 3 years of applicable experienced required; or equivalent combination of education

and experience.

* Experience in Microsoft Office Programs required

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$68,600-$98,700

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
