Overview
Primarily responsible for achieving the Firm's Business Services Professionals ("BSPs") staffing objectives by being the senior recruiter for the New York office BSP needs. Positions include non-exempt, exempt, and managerial levels.
Responsibilities
Full end to end recruiting lifecycle for all open BSP roles, including legal assistant positions and temporary workers. Recruiting lifecycle includes but is not limited to preparing job descriptions, sourcing candidates, utilizing the Firm's recruitment systems, working with agencies, interviewing, scheduling interviews, and closing roles.
- Strategically develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, local employment delivery systems, recruiting firms, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Apply best practices and knowledge of various applicant identification sources to build a robust talent pipeline. Sources include but are not limited to social media sites, job boards, employment agencies and college career sites.
- Acquire top talent by leveraging all data market intelligence research.
- Benchmark and recommend appropriate salary offers that will most likely lead to applicant acceptance. Apply knowledge of the Firm's pay grades and benchmarking tools as well as internal equity and external market data in order to determine appropriate compensations.
- Develop recruiting metrics to gain insight with regards to key components of the Firm's internal recruiting process: time to fill, cost to fill, etc.
- Review resumes, conduct phone screens, and apply behavioral interview techniques to evaluate applicants qualifications. Make recommendations to select candidates who possess the skills and work history required for relevant positions.
- Recommend process improvement strategies to strengthen and streamline internal recruitment process.
- Other responsibilities as they are assigned as needed.
The anticipated base salary range offered for this role will be between $95,000 to $125,000 and represents the firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation. Actual base compensation will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, performance, qualifications, degrees, and location, well as the needs of the firm.
Qualifications
- Professional experience with a minimum of 5 - 7 years of relevant result driven experience.
- Law firm experience a must
- Must attain professional demeanor and presence, strong written and oral communication skills
A successful candidate will be able to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders, multitask, manage high volume recruitment, source excellent talent - Bachelors
- Professional Recruiter Certification (PRC) a plus
- PHR, SPHR, aPHR, PHR a plus
