How you'll make an impact:

The Senior Manager, Email Operations & Enablement role is critical in scaling our email programs, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring best-in-class execution across all campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of digital marketing, email technologies, and marketing automation platforms. You will work cross-functionally with marketing, technology, analytics, and external vendors to implement scalable solutions, enforce best practices, and drive performance through operational excellence.

What you'll do:

  • Lead Email Operations Execution: manage the implementation and updates of email campaigns and customer journeys, supporting new launches, testing initiatives, and ongoing optimizations.
  • Proficient in HTML and CSS for Email Development including the ability to hand-code responsive, cross-platform emails, and troubleshoot rendering issues across email clients and devices.
  • Optimize Email Infrastructure: support the ongoing enhancement of standardized email templates, modules, and asset libraries for consistency, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Drive Enablement Initiatives: champion key optimization projects such as send time optimization (STO), enhanced metadata usage, and deliverability improvements.
  • Vendor Management: work with email service providers (ESPs), technology vendors, and external partners to ensure high-quality delivery and technical reliability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with internal teams including marketing, channel marketing, CRM, and IT to align on campaign priorities and platform enhancements.
  • Provide Strategic Guidance: advise stakeholders on email marketing best practices, emerging industry trends, and updates to the email service provider (ESP) platform to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
  • Ensure Compliance: maintain best practices around data privacy, CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and email deliverability standards.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree (or above) and/or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in email marketing or marketing operations, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
  • Preferred experience in both client-side and agency environments, demonstrating versatility in marketing execution and strategy.
  • Hands-on expertise with leading email service providers (ESPs); experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Adobe Campaign is a strong plus.
  • Proven experience collaborating with Legal, Security, and Compliance teams to ensure campaign integrity and regulatory alignment.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate and succeed in matrixed organizations, with a strong customer service mindset toward internal stakeholders.
  • Committed to operational excellence and executing with a high degree of accuracy and quality.
  • Skilled in developing formal business and functional requirements documentation to support project and platform needs.
  • Exceptional organization and time management skills; detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, timelines, and objectives simultaneously.
  • Creative and analytical thinker, able to transform ideas into actional marketing strategies and insights.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of initiative and accountability to drive projects from concept to completion.
  • Must have legal right to work in the U.S.

At SiriusXM, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your background and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We expect the base salary for this position to be in the range of $104,000 to $130,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
