Position Summary

The Recruitment Coordinator provides full life cycle recruiting support to the Talent Acquisition team. This role plays a crucial role in supporting the recruitment process and ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience. This position involves engaging with potential candidates, scheduling, and coordinating interviews, and maintaining accurate candidate data. The Recruitment Coordinator collaborates closely with the HR team and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and contribute to the employer branding efforts.

Key Responsibilities



  • Work in partnership with Talent Acquisition and other team members to build creative strategies around sourcing and attracting the best talent in a competitive market.
  • Recommend and drive improvements to enhance and scale our pipeline strategy.
  • Build and maintain outstanding relationships with supported HR leaders and hiring managers.
  • Provide recruiting support to multiple locations across North America.
  • Support the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and scheduling interviews. Maintain regular communication with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.
  • Utilize various recruitment platforms, social media, and other channels to identify and engage with potential candidates.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers, ensuring all logistical details are managed efficiently and professionally.
  • Assist in onboarding new hires by ensuring all required documentation and processes are completed accurately and in a timely manner, including those initiated by marketing as part of employee experience initiatives.
  • Keep the applicant tracking system (ATS) up-to-date with candidate information, application statuses, and recruitment metrics. Generate reports and analyze data to provide insights into recruitment performance.
  • Support the HR team in promoting Forgen's employer brand through various channels, including social media, job boards, and career fairs.
  • Provide support to the Marketing department by addressing Human Resources-related responsibilities.
  • Perform additional assignments and special projects as directed.


Basic Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in recruitment coordination or a similar HR-related role is beneficial.
  • Previous experience working in an applicant tracking system (Greenhouse preferred).
  • Experience with effective pre-screening, interviewing and candidate evaluation.
  • Skilled in proactive candidate sourcing using Boolean search, job boards, and social media platforms.
  • Experienced in HR management, including recruiting, onboarding, and talent strategies.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with proven ability to build rapport over the phone.
  • Knowledge of construction engineering technology and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Highly motivated, ethical, safety-focused team player with a strong work ethic and initiative.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with excellent time management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Tech-savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to drive on behalf of company business.


Physical Demands & Work Environment

This office-based role requires frequent computer use and effective communication, with occasional travel to project sites as needed. Site visits may involve extended periods of standing or walking and required PPE, with potential exposure to heavy equipment, chemicals, dust, fumes, uneven terrain, and extreme weather.
