Job Summary Performs specialized and complex work analyzing and maintaining accurate financial data, managing assigned budgets, ensuring compliance with fiscal policies and procedures in support of financial goals and strategies. This classification prepares budgetary estimates and reports, ensures compliance with applicable laws, codes and regulations, monitors and reviews contracts for compliance, works closely with departments, grants and finance teams to maintain fiscal integrity. Serves as a designated subject matter expert and provides advanced professional financial analysis and support for the assigned area. Essential Functions 30% - Provides reporting and budget support on awarded grants by working closely with project staff, as well as college and district finance staff. 30% - Supports the financial and budget analysis of grant applications and proposals, including reviewing grantor budget requirements, and ensuring internal and external financial compliance is met. 20% - Assists with ongoing financial tracking and monitoring of grant goals and outcomes and reporting on goal achievement. 10% - Performs grant related position management. 10% - Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in finance, accounting, business or public administration or directly related field and four (4) years of experience providing advanced professional financial analysis and support in the areas of finance, payroll, budgeting, or a closely related financial/fiscal area of assignment. OR Associates Degree from a regionally accredited institution in finance, accounting, business or public administration or directly related field and six (6) years of experience providing advanced professional financial analysis and support in the areas of finance, payroll, budgeting, or a closely related financial/fiscal area of assignment. OR High School Diploma/GED from a regionally accredited institution in finance, accounting, business or public administration or directly related field and eight (8) years of experience providing advanced professional financial analysis and support in the areas of finance, payroll, budgeting, or a closely related financial/fiscal area of assignment. Desired Qualifications A. Four (4) or more years of experience with financial reporting and budgeting B. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and enterprise financial systems C. Experience interpreting and adhering to government policies and regulations D. Two (2) or more years of experience with fiscal reconciliation and auditing. E.
