This position will be employed through Noor Staffing Group working remotely throughout the U.S.

The Contract Chemistry Lab Content Developer will plan, develop, and manage preparation of ancillary elements and media content in the chemistry labs domain that delivers competitive advantage. Instructors and students use these resources to enrich the learning experience and ease the teaching process. Contract lab content developers will work closely with the Custom & Labs Teaching & Learning Strategies team, and the successful candidate will need to communicate clearly and collaboratively with other project stakeholders about status, issues, scheduling, and budget.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



  • Writing and creating content for digital Chemistry lab programs, especially for Organic Chemistry.
  • Writing and creating assessment questions for digital lab programs, as needed.
  • Assist in editing and authoring digital lab materials, as needed
  • Assisting with miscellaneous editorial tasks, as needed.


Required Qualifications:



  • Masters degree in Chemistry or related area;
  • 3+ years teaching Chemistry labs
  • Exhibits excellent and varied oral and written communication styles for different audiences;
  • Able to work effectively with stakeholders and collaborate cross functionally with a variety of stakeholders;
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and committed to quality.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience teaching and/or coordinating Organic Chemistry labs.
  • Experience writing their own original laboratory content.


Pay Rate: $25- $28/hour, based on experience.

Hours: 15-20 hours/week
