Description

Keysight's Customer Software Entitlement & Delivery R&D team develops the core software components that enable monetization and access control for Keysight's industry-leading measurement solutions. These components are used internally across Keysight's product portfolio, powering software and hardware products relied on by customers in industries ranging from 5G wireless communications and aerospace/defense to automotive, semiconductor, and quantum research.

We are seeking a Software Developer Intern to join our team in Loveland, Colorado. This is a unique opportunity to work on the next generation of licensing components that support a global technology leader. The role offers hands-on experience with modern cloud-native development practices and exposure to the challenges of building internal platforms for large-scale, enterprise-grade software systems.


Responsibilities

As a Software Developer Intern, you will:

  • Contribute to the design and development of next-generation licensing components for Keysight.
  • Work with cloud technologies including Go, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Work with modern UI technologies including Angular and Electron.
  • Collaborate with experienced R&D engineers to deliver high-quality, maintainable, and scalable software components.
  • Gain exposure to how internal software platforms are used to enable product teams across a global enterprise.
  • Learn best practices for software engineering in a large-scale, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

Must Have:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Basic familiarity with the source control tool Git.
  • Strong people skills and knack for problem solving.
  • Familiarity with one or more of the following: TypeScript, Angular, Go, Kubernetes, C++, C# .
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Prior coursework, projects, or internships involving cloud-native architecture or desktop software development.

Pay Range:

$29-31/hour
