Description - EXCEL TEST REQUIRED AND MUST BE 95% OR ABOVE We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly efficient Charge Entry Clerk to support our fast-paced Claims Team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely processing of high-volume medical claims. Key Responsibilities: * Process large volumes of patient claims with a target of 1.5 minutes per claim, contributing to a monthly throughput of approximately 4,000 claims. * Navigate seamlessly between Google Sheets, EMR systems, and multiple screens to perform charge entry tasks efficiently. * Receive and manage large raw data sets in Excel; format and optimize these files to make them user-friendly for charge entry purposes. * Input patient information from Excel files into billing software to generate accurate payment requirements. * Focus on reducing the backlog of claims, ensuring timely and accurate data entry. Required Skills & Experience: * Advanced proficiency in Excel (Google Sheets), including formatting, data manipulation, and working with large datasets. * Ability to work independently with minimal training on Excel-related tasks. * Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. * Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under time constraints. * Experience with EMR systems and multitasking across multiple platforms/screens. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
