Proven to Perform. 2026 Product Engineering Internship - ATI Specialty Materials Locations: Monroe, NC Program Duration: 10 Weeks | Summer 2026 Target Students: Rising Juniors & Seniors - Materials Science, Metallurgical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering Transform Alloys Into Performance - Intern in Product Engineering at ATI At ATI, we engineer specialty materials that power the next generation of aircraft, spacecraft, surgical implants, and energy systems. As a Product Engineering Intern, you'll be part of the team that transforms alloy designs into manufacturable, high-performance products. You'll apply your materials science or mechanical engineering background to optimize microstructure, improve product specifications, and enhance process capability in real production environments. What You'll Work On Depending on your project assignment, you may:
Support Right First Time (RFT) improvement initiatives focused on grain size control.
Assist in hot working trials (forging and rolling) for advanced alloys.
