REGIONAL FIELD TRAINER The Regional Field Trainer plays a mission-critical role in elevating leasing performance,strengthening operational consistency, and ensuring teams confidently execute TheHillpointe Way. Supporting one of the Regional Vice Presidents of Property Management,this role provides hands-on coaching, in-person onboarding, and ongoing field-basedtraining across assigned communities. Key Responsibilities: Enhance Leasing & Sales Performance
- Coach teams on lead management, prospect follow-up, value-based selling, objection handling, and effective closing strategies.
- Strengthen performance throughout the leasing funnel by identifying skill gaps and delivering tailored coaching.
- Model high-impact leasing behaviors during site visits.
Elevate the Customer Touring Experience
- Train associates to deliver a consistent, high-quality touring experience that reflects Hillpointe standards.
- Reinforce model presentation, storytelling, product knowledge, and personalized prospect engagement.
- Ensure touring expectations are clearly understood, consistently practiced, and continually refined.
Reinforce Policies & Procedures
- Review operational standards with teams to ensure company policies are understood and followed.
- Identify gaps in process adherence and coach healthy habits that drive compliant, consistent execution.
- Promote behaviors that elevate both performance and professionalism.
Deliver On-Site Training & Coaching
- Conduct regular property visits to observe real-time performance, provideimmediate feedback and demonstrate best practices.
- Offer hands-on support during lease-ups, starting transitions, or performance challenges.
- Partner with RVPs to deploy targeted field support where it is needed most.
Lead New Hire Onboarding
- Facilitate in-person onboarding for new associates.
- Introduce Hillpointe's service standards, touring approach, communication expectations, systems use, and leasing fundamentals.
- Ensure every new hire begins with a strong, confident foundation.
Support Ongoing Skill Development
- Deliver refresher trainings, micro-sessions, role-play scenarios, and performance-specific coaching.
- Reinforce key behaviors that drive leasing success and outstanding customer experience.
- Maintain a growth-oriented training rhythm for both new and experienced team members.
Document Field Insights & Progress
- Track all training sessions, coaching insights, observed strengths, and improvement opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of progress and provide follow-up plans to ensure sustained behavior change.
- Share field observations with leadership to support informed decision-making.
Collaborate with L&D and Operations
- Partner closely with Regional VPs, Property Managers, and the Learning & Development team to align training with organizational goals.
- Share field trends, performance gaps, and recommended training solutions.
- Support the rollout of new initiatives, tools, and standards.
Qualifications & Abilities:
- Minimum 2+ years of Property Management experience (no more than 5 yearspreferred).
- Regional Manager or Multi-Site Manager-level experience required.
- Formal training background required (does not need to be specific to propertymanagement).
- Demonstrated success in leasing, sales, customer service, or operationalleadership roles.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong coaching presence with the ability to build trust, motivate teams, and driveaccountability.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Deep understanding of leasing strategies, customer experience, and operationalbest practices.
- Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Comfortable traveling up to 75% across assigned regions.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
