Position Summary: The Department of Radiation Oncology at NYU Langone Health is seeking a clinical medical physicist to join our team in Staten Island. This is an excellent opportunity for a physicist to practice in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with meaningful local clinical responsibility while being part of a large, growing, multisite academic radiation oncology program recognized for clinical excellence, innovation, and education. The physicist in this role will primarily support the clinical operations of our Staten Island practice and play an integral part in the safe, precise, and effective delivery of radiation therapy. Working closely with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and radiation therapists, the successful candidate's contributions will include, but not be limited to, quality assurance, chart review, equipment oversight, and the continued advancement of high-quality clinical care. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
