Senior Financial Data Analyst | Automotive Aftermarket

Transform data into actionable insights! As a Senior Financial/Data Analyst, you will analyze and interpret complex data sets, collaborate with stakeholders, and drive process improvements. You will be responsible for delivering accurate reports and supporting strategic decision-making. We are seeking applicants with strong analytical skills, proficiency in data visualization tools, and the ability to mentor team members.

What you will be doing:

  • Forecast complex revenue models monthly, quarterly, and annually, especially with our eCommerce and Catalog products.
  • Generate monthly billing and reporting, including emailing invoices and backup documentation to customers.
  • Audit customer billing records to ensure proper billing for all products and services.
  • Assist various groups/departments with customer billing issues, including generating billing reports, entering Request Items (RITMs), and following up on billing edits.
  • Partner with the FP&A team on financial management topics such as accruals, bridge revenue analysis, AOP Revenue, and OPEX planning.
  • Maintain necessary databases to ensure data is available and accurate for revenue and billing reports.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue, decrease costs, and drive productivity through detailed revenue and billing analysis.
  • Define, document, and implement process improvements.
  • Partner with sales leadership to build revenue models related to accelerating sales growth.
  • Provide support for annual price increases by analyzing existing billing data and making recommendations.
  • Build revenue/billing models for large National Account and Program Group customers.
  • Calculate annual rebates for large customers using complex billing data.

What you will likely bring:

  • 8+ years of progressive experience and demonstrated success/knowledge.
  • 3+ years of specialized/industry experience.
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience); Master's degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in complex reporting using tools such as Excel, PowerBI, Tableau.
  • Ability to work across business functions including Operations, Sales Ops, Finance, and Accounting.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify business opportunities and process issues.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

What could set you apart:

  • Strong knowledge of the Automotive Aftermarket and Automotive Retail.
  • Understanding of SaaS and On-Premise software models, licensing, and customer lifecycle management.
  • Experience applying and using AI to accelerate analysis and forecasting.

Range:

Minimum: $50,000 USD Maximum: $150,000 USD
