Position Summary In coordination with the NYU Tulsa Program Director, Experiential Learning Manager, Lecturers, and Office of Global Programs, the Academics Coordinator will help implement and manage curriculum and academic support programs that meet educational and performance standards. Oversee classroom scheduling, support instructors (i.e., onboarding, learning management system support, submission of grades, training), facilitate faculty searches, and uphold university policies. Partner with the University of Tulsa (TU) to facilitate enrollment of NYU Tulsa students in TU classes, consistent with applicable policies and procedures. The Academics Coordinator is a full-time position supporting all aspects of academic administration for NYU Tulsa. This position, located at NYU Tulsa, reports to the NYU Tulsa Program Director and to the Assistant Vice President for Academics in the Office of Global Programs to assist their respective duties of supporting lecturers, site staff, and a diverse group of NYU faculty and students from all three degree-granting campuses (NYU New York, NYU Abu Dhabi, and NYU Shanghai). Create and foster a positive teaching and learning environment that is innovative and responsive to student and lecturer needs. Partner with the leadership teams to achieve NYU Tulsa's and New York University's academic vision and mission. Qualifications Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Preferred Education: Master's Degree Required Experience: 3+ years relevant experience or combination of experience and education Preferred Experience: 5+ years Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Excellent attention to detail, flexibility, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with others in support of the organization's mission. Ability to exercise good judgement and to handle sensitive information in a discreet, professional manner. Ability to manage workloads, deadlines, and responsibilities with limited supervision. Proficiency in standard office and office productivity software. Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $77,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
