Quality Assurance & Compliance Manager

Staffmark is hiring a Quality Assurance & Compliance Manager professional to join a reputable manufacturer in Willis, TX. This full-time, direct-hire opportunity is ideal for someone with a strong background in quality systems, compliance, and continuous improvement-especially in the automotive or industrial manufacturing sector.

Salary: $90,000 - $110,000/year

Schedule: Evening Shift

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain quality objectives aligned with corporate goals
• Lead QA, HSE, and compliance initiatives, including ISO certifications (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
• Implement inspection, testing, and evaluation standards and methods
• Analyze quality data using statistical process control (SPC) techniques
• Review design documentation, supplier quality manuals, and records
• Accept or reject products based on quality review findings
• Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement
• Supervise QA team and manage quality across development, launch, production, and field support
• Develop and deliver internal training on quality standards
• Ensure compliance with government, customer, and industry codes
• Maintain visibility with leadership through reporting and presentations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and 6-10 years' related experience
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills, including statistical analysis
• Prior experience in automotive quality management preferred
• Proficient in SAP or similar ERP/MRP systems
• Certified internal auditor for ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 preferred
• Six Sigma certification and/or ASQ CMQ/OE preferred
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-mix, low-volume production environment is a plus
