Key Responsibilities:

Microbiological Testing



  • Perform water and finished product testing using aseptic techniques
  • Conduct spread plate enumeration, USP enrichment, and pathogen detection using selective agars
  • Identify organisms via Gram staining, API test strips, and traditional methods (e.g., catalase, coagulase)
  • Maintain lab equipment including incubators, refrigerators, and autoclaves


Chemical Testing



  • Conduct titrations, pH measurements, and batch testing
  • Perform identity testing using FTIR and compendial standards


Physical Testing



  • Inspect incoming canisters and closures
  • Conduct flow rate and Tex testing of coffee filters
  • Prepare samples for UV analysis


Administrative Support



  • Monitor inventory and order media
  • Record and report test results accurately
  • Ensure GLP compliance and timely data archiving
  • Review logs for accuracy and completeness


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in microbiology or Biochemistry
  • 0-3 years of experience in a QC laboratory
  • Additional training in Chemistry and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite preferred

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret test results and troubleshoot equipment
  • Attention to detail and commitment to lab safety and GMP standards
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced, high-stress environment


Work Environment:

  • 100% indoor lab setting
  • Exposure to odors, fumes, and potential hazards (25%)
  • Minimal noise and no travel required
