The Ultrasound Repair Technician 2 plays a crucial role in ensuring ultrasound systems are cosmetically and functionally up to OEM standards. The primary role of the Ultrasound Repair Technician 2 is to identify repairs, both functionally and cosmetically, and identify/locate the parts to fix the unit. The Ultrasound Technician Repair 2 will ensure accuracy and the highest quality during part removal, including proper logging of parts in Salesforce. The Ultrasound Repair Technician 2 has the ability to repair ultrasound systems in house or on site with guidance from technical support if needed. The Ultrasound Repair Technician 2 has been trained on GE, Philips and Mindray ultrasound equipment. Requirements Job Duties:Follows and adheres to all Probo Medical and OSHA safety policies and regulationsPerforms and logs daily safety checks100% ESD compliance when handling partsResolves system issues by performing electronic and mechanical repairs where neededInstalls software application programsPhysically removes parts from imaging systems using a variety of tools and methodsProperly identifies parts from systems using parts manuals, online resources, and historical system informationEnsures all recoverable parts are properly removed and logged in SalesforcePerforms secondary quality checks on repaired/tested partsManages parts exchangesEnsures quality through proper removal Ability to disassemble and rebuild ultrasounds to properly remove/repair to OEM specificationsCollaborate with other departments, regarding issues with equipmentEnsures area is ready for audits, by maintaining the area to ISO 13485 StandardsProvide onsite repairs when needed with guidance from technical supportMinimum Qualification: 1-3 years experience in mechanical/electrical environmentMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Experience with hand tools a mustPrior experience working on ultrasound systems a mustBasic computer skills and ability to read and understand part manualsOn the job training from Ultrasound Repair Technician 1Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Desire to learn.Creative problem solving.Sense of urgency.Attention to detail.Logical thinking.Resourcefulness.Cross-functional participation.Solid Communication, both verbal and written. | |
