We are seeking a Chief Systems Architect to provide strategic leadership across a dynamic portfolio supporting existing portfolio needs, with an emphasis on strengthening program execution, technical rigor, and business growth. This role blends high-level strategic direction with hands-on technical leadership, delivering both internal transformation and external customer impact. This position includes serving in a dual capacity to directly influence program success and support enterprise-level growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Execution & Technical Leadership:

  • Serve as a senior leader overseeing technical direction, solution development, and engineering rigor across a big data programs and project.
  • Provide expert advisory support to improve program performance, mitigate execution risks, and ensure compliance with technical and contractual requirements.
  • Lead the maturation of PMO by establishing scalable processes, tools, and standards to improve consistency and efficiency across the portfolio.

Strategic Growth & Business Development:

  • Partner with Capture and Business Development teams to shape pursuit strategies for new business opportunities, including solution development, proposal readiness, and capture planning.
  • Identify and drive strategic growth opportunities that align with Line of Business (LOB) priorities, working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Enterprise Enablement & Innovation:

  • Support high-priority special projects, ensuring delivery of outcomes that align with organizational goals and timelines.
  • Contribute to the creation of program execution frameworks and knowledge materials to upskill project and program leaders across the organization.
  • Assist in developing viable business pursuits that apply Vantor's technology to address mission needs of the Intelligence Community (IC) and Department of Defense (DoD).

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Active/current TS/SCI with ability to obtain and maintain a CI poly
  • Proven experience leading complex, multidisciplinary programs in the aerospace, defense, or intelligence sectors.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience with a bachelor's degree (or master's degree plus five years of experience) in program management for government information technology, schedule/cost management and team leadership.
  • Strong background in systems engineering, architecture, and technical program leadership.
  • Demonstrated success in solutioning and capture support for large-scale government contracts.
  • Experience establishing or maturing PMO structures and driving enterprise efficiency.
  • Exceptional collaboration, communication, and executive engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated success with delivering functional capabilities to the government's satisfaction utilizing agile management principles.
  • Managing as prime contractor for government clients.
  • Leading or authoring core volumes for competitive B&P.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with DoD/IC mission requirements and acquisition processes.
  • Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.

The base pay for this position within California, Colorado, Hawaii, New Jersey, the Washington, DC metropolitan area, and for all other states is:

$200,000.00 - $240,000.00
